The blue bar at the bottom of the editor represents your clip’s timeline. It always displays the clip’s duration and current speed settings. To navigate through the timeline, you can:
  • Drag the slider between the zoom-in and zoom-out magnifying glass icons.

  • Move your cursor over the timeline and swipe on your trackpad.
  • Or Scroll using your mouse scroll wheel.
These options make it easy to zoom in, zoom out, and move through your recording with precision.

Cut a Clip

SCR 20260108 Odzw Use the Scissors tool to cut parts of your clip and adjust its length.
  1. Click the Scissors icon to activate the cut tool.
  2. Click on the timeline at the point where you want to make a cut.
💡 Tip: Press Command (⌘) + Z to undo the cut if needed.

Delete a segment

SCR 20260108 Ogqo You can remove unwanted parts of your recording in just a few steps.
  1. Select the segment you want to delete.
  2. Right-click and choose Delete, or press the Delete key on your keyboard.
This allows you to quickly trim out mistakes or unnecessary sections from your recording. 💡 Tip: Press Command (⌘) + Z to undo the deletion if needed.

Adjust the Trim

You can adjust a clip’s length without making additional cuts. To trim the beginning or end of a recording:
  1. Click and hold the edge of the clip on the timeline.
  2. Drag it left or right to adjust the clip length. 💡 Tip: Press Command (⌘) + Z to undo the trim if needed.
