Auto Zoom
Section titled “Auto Zoom”Auto Zoom automatically focuses on where you click during your recording — no manual setup needed.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”- SmoothCapture detects mouse clicks in your recording
- Each zoom will center on the click position
- The camera smoothly zooms in to highlight that interaction
When to Use
Section titled “When to Use”Auto Zoom is ideal when:
- You’re doing click-based demos
- You want fast editing with minimal setup
- Most interactions are driven by mouse input
Important
Section titled “Important”- Auto Zoom only works if clicks exist in that segment
- No clicks → no zoom will be applied
In that case, switch to Manual Zoom and choose the focus area yourself.
If your recording feels “dead” or unfocused, it’s usually because:
- You used Auto Zoom
- But there were no clicks to guide it
Don’t guess—use Manual Zoom instead.
